Membership is our way of sharing our shop with you! Come use the tools you need, when you need them. There are no closed hours for our members.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What does membership include?

A: All members get 24/7 access to the shop, free training and Intro Classes, and can rent storage for personal projects.

Q: How do I use my membership to get in to the building?

A: Each member is assigned a unique numerical code. This code is programmed into our front and rear entrances, and will unlock both doors for convenient and secure access anytime.

Q: What safety training is required once I become a member?

A: Our 'Intro' classes are all geared towards providing makers with the essential safety and operational knowledge that they need to operate any tool in our workshop. These free classes are required for members to use any of our large pieces of equipment.

Q: Can I bring non-members in with me?

A: YES! You can absolutely bring guests and non-members in with you. With many larger projects that require heavy lifting, we highly encourage you to bring the appropriate number of hands necessary to safely lift and move your project. We only ask that guests not use our tools or equipment. For example; your brother may come and help outfeed your boards as you plane them, but he cannot turn on/off the tool, adjust the height, or turn on/off the dust collector.

Q: Can I leave my large project at the shop?

A: Yes! We have several different size storage options for projects big and small so that you do not have to travel with large collections of personal supplies or projects. Just ask any of our staff and we'll get you your own storage space.

Q: Are there any discounts?

A: We offer a 10% discount for Military (active/reserve/retired), first responders, teachers, and students. Just Ask and be prepared to show ID (School ID, DD214, etc).

Q: Is there an age limit?

A: Yes. Individual members must be at least 18 years old. Members may include family members as young as 12, but a responsible adult must accompany them until their 18th birthday.
